| Connett was born May 25, 1935 in Mulvane, Kansas. Earned a BS in art education from Kansas State Teachers College in 1953, a MA from Wichita State Univ. in 1964, and studied at the American Univ. in Mexico and in Florence, Italy. Pupil of Mary Kretsinger and Dorothy MacCray. Taught in the Wichita public schools from 1957-64, at the Wichita Art Museum from 1969-70, at Friends Univ. starting in 1964, and at Hutchinson Community College.
Member: Artist Guild of Wichita.
