This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born on March 1, 1877 in Nottingham, England. Cooper studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute in San Francisco and at the University of Washington. She was a resident of Seattle in the mid-1920s and then returned to San Francisco. She died in Seattle, WA on Sept. 4, 1936. Member: Seattle FA Society; Women Painters of Wash. Exh: SFAA, 1921-32; NW PM, 1926-36; Seattle Museum 1934, 1936 (solos).
