Born 9/6/1952, Chicago, Illinois 1970-1974 studied at Layton School of Art and Design, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a painting major.
Well known as a portrait painter in the Midwest specializing in people with their horses and other animals.
After graduation from Layton, Cameron worked as an artist/editor at Western Publishing Company for 9 years ( at the time, largest USA publisher of children's books, Little Golden Books) .
In 1986 she quit and bought a plane ticket to Spain. Her portrait career was launched there when she was discovered by Count and Countess Igor Cassini. Cameron has painted full time since 1986 and done hundreds of privately commissioned portraits.
