Biography from Elizabeth Totten:
| Eugen Ciuca, sculptor, painter, engraver, and art critic, was born
February 27th, 1913, in Romania. At age six, he created his first
sculptures, and in 1938, at age 23, he had his first exhibition.
His exhibitions are now a total of 88, 42 of them one-man shows. Work
by Mr. Ciuca is in nine museums around the world including the Gerald
R. Ford museum.
He has done work for the White House and the Vatican, and is considered the founder of art's fourth dimension.
Awards and honors include listings in 33 books. He has a PhD in fine
art, and was a Professor of Art. He has lived in America for a good
part of his life and considers himself an American artist and has
stated "I will work till the day I die"
Eugen Ciuca died in 2005.
