| From Boston, F Arthur Callender became a visiting artist in New Orleans at Tulane University from 1892 to 1893 and also painted scenes for Louisiana at the Chicago Exposition of 1893.
He was a student in Paris at the Academy Julian from 1884 to 1890 and in 1890, exhibited at the Paris Salon. In 1917, his work was in the collection of the King of Italy.
