Born Topeka, 1912. Painter, specialized in landscapes. Sculptor. Teacher. Etcher. Illustrator. Graduate of Washburn College, Topeka studying under Mary Huntoon and James I. Gilbert.; Art Institute of Chicago under Edmund Giesbert and Louis Ritman. Taught at Washburn College, Topeka, 1937-38; senior artist on Kansas Federal Art Project.
