This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| I am one of many nieces and remember him well. In my past records, his name is Charles F. Chilton. He may have dropped the Charles, I don't know, as he always went by Frank. He was born April 12, 1904 and passed away Feb. 22, 1973 and is buried at Rose Hills Cemetery, California. I was one of many relatives helping after his passing. He had lost his eyesight towards the end of his life. Very quiet loving man to his sisters and family who loved him.
