| Born Prince Edwards Island in 1876, he lived in Los Angeles in 1910; Columbus, Ohio, and Ancaster, Ontario.
He studied at Hamilton Art School and with S. J. Ireland.
He was a member of the Columbus Paint and Print Club and worked as manager of the art department at Bucher Engravings Co.
