| George Mulford Carpenter was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 30, 1874. He studied at the Art Students League in New York City under Frank DuMond.
About 1925 he came to Los Angeles, where he painted murals, made stained glass windows, taught art at the University of Southern California, and acted as art director for a motion picture studio.
He died in Pasadena, CA on Feb. 11, 1940.
Exhibition: Foothill Artists (La Canada), 1932-36.
