Germaine Chardon (Brussels, Belgium 1910-Le Canet (France) 1999).
Born in Brussels, she studied with Franz Smeers.
She married Mr. Bouriez in the 1930's but divorced quickly. Then she married Lucien Dratz and lived in Africa at the end of the 1950's. Then she lived in France (Nyons) where she bought the castle for one symbolic French franc and lived in it until c. 1987.
She died in Le Canet (France) on March 21, 1999. She is buried at the Nyons cemetery. Chardon has one son (Hector Bouriez (1932-). Five grandchildren and thirteen great grand children.
