| Born in England on April 9, 1862. Cannon was educated in London and worked there as a designer for gold and silversmiths. He worked in NYC for several years before settling in Los Angeles about 1906. In 1912 he established the Cannon Art School in Los Angeles and taught there until 1933. He died in Redondo Beach, CA on Feb. 5, 1939. Member: Commercial Artists Ass'n of So. Calif.; Free Lance Art League of LA (co-founder and vice pres., 1918). In: Orange Co. (CA) Museum.
