Jenni Christensen was born in Salt Lake City Utah in 1949. She grew up in Hawaii eventually moving to a ranch in Idaho. After receiving her MFA in print making from Brigham Young University in 1977, she moved with her husband to Boston where she worked at the Experimental Etching Studio. She then spent a year in Portland working at the Oregon School of Arts and Crafts.
After moving to Pleasant Grove Utah in 1979, Jenni assumed a teaching position at BYU where she taught print making unitl 1987, when her family and her garden got out of hand. She has enjoyed the role as a full time artist/mother ever since.
Jenni's primary technique combines etching with aquatint. Most of her pieces are drawn directly from flowers in her garden. Her work is represented galleries throughout the US.
