The following was submitted in December of 2005 by the artist, who is the
founder of California Lawyers for the Arts and lives in Berkeley,
California.
I have a law degree from Yale and a PHD in sociology from the
University of Chicago but have painted all my life and finally turned
to it exclusively in 1970.
I was inspired by the late 19th and early 20th century painters whose
work I so frequently encountered in my visits as a child to The Art
Institute of Chicago.&n (showing 500 of 3934 characters). |
