Painter Joe Csatari is an illustrator and portrait artist who trained with his mentor, Norman Rockwell, for eight years. In 1977 Csatari embarked on a career as a freelance illustrator and artist after more than 22 years as the art director of the Boy Scouts of America's advertising Department. That same year Csatari became the official artist for the Boy Scouts of America a role he took over from Rockwell.
