| | Born in San Francisco, CA on Dec. 5, 1914. Campbell studied in San Francisco at the ASL and Rudolph Schaeffer School. By the late 1930s he was active in the local art scene. For 20 years he taught interior design at UC Extension and maintained an architectural practice with Worley Wong. One of the first to build an A-frame house, he received many awards from the American Institute of Architects for his homes and buildings in the San Francisco Bay area.
