The following information was submitted in July of 2006 by Vivian F. Zoe, Director of the Slater Museum:
The Slater Museum is fortunate to have in its collection a number of fine paintings, mostly oil on canvas, by John Denison Crocker. Some are portraits of people important to the development of the Norwich Free Academy and captains of the city’s industrial revolution. Still others are landscapes which document the original nine-miles-square of Norwich and its rural enviro (showing 500 of 7608 characters). |
