| | Born in Massachusetts in 1825. Crackbon arrived in the earliest days of the Gold Rush. By 1849 he was panning near Mormon Island. In 1879 he advertised as a portraitist in Sacramento and again in San Francisco in 1885-87. He died in Lake County, CA on Nov. 16, 1893. Exh: Calif.
