The following information was submitted by Paul Nestroyl in May of 2006: Joe Chabot and my father were in business together in the time period from the 1950's to the 1970's. He, my father Fred Nestroyl, and his brother Leon Chabot ran a picture framing business called Framecraft located in the Robertson art district in West Los Angeles. Later, they expanded into a print making business called Fine Arts Press. One of their featured artist at the Fine Arts Press was Phillip Marchand. Joe ran the Art Gallery, Leon ran the business, and Fred ran the shop. All studied art together in the late 1940's were they met, collaborated, and went into the art business.
