Watercolorist Kara Castro is a native of Michigan whose love of art and
outstanding talent were seen as early as childhood. While still
in high school, she began selling her artwork in art shows and
galleries as well as to private collectors. Her paintings display a
tight realism seldom seen with watercolors and normally focus on both
portraiture and equine subjects.
Kara's paintings have earned
her several "Best of Show" awards and continue to gain nationwide
