| From Iowa, Kreigh Collins became an illustrator, painter, and muralist who settled in Ada, Michigan. He studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy and the Cleveland Art School and exhibited in galleries in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He completed a mural for the East Grand Rapids High School, the city auditorium in Newberry, Michigan and the Congregational Church in Grand Rapids. He also did portraits and landscapes, and was the illustrator for newspapers and magazines including the "Review Herald."
