| The following information courtesy of her great niece, Barbara
VanZandt, who lived with Crawford during the last fifteen years of the
artist's life:
Lesley graduated from Vassar College in 1908. She lived and was active
in Springfield, Vermont as well as in Summit, NJ. She died in
Springfield, VT. in 1963. She was also known for her watercolors
and landscapes of Vermont, Guatemala, Italy and Greece. She was one of
the founders of the Miller Art Center in Springfield, VT in 1956.
She was also associated with the Southern Vermont Art Center in
Manchester, VT, and the Summit Art Association, Summit, NJ.
Lesley was a former student of Kimon Nicolaides(1891-1938) at the Art Students League in NYC.
