This biography from the Archives of AskART:

Linna Annetta Fogle Crow    (1865-1942)

Noted as a landscape, fruit and flower painter, she was born in January, 1866, in Kenton, Ohio, the daughter of Frederick and Margaret Fogle.  After studies in New York City, she returned to her home in Kenton and married a local lawyer, Phil M. Crow, in 1893.  They lived with her parents for a number of years before moving to Lima, Ohio.  L.A. Crow, as she signed her work, exhibited throughout Ohio and in Buffalo, Chicago, and New York City.

By the time of the 1930 census, she was listed as a professional artist (although her age was given as only 55) and her husband had been elected a Judge on the Court of Appeals.

Mrs. Crow was a member of the Columbus Art League and the Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati.  She died in Lima, Ohio, on November 20, 1942.
