The following information was submitted by her nephew Howard Cramer, in his words: My aunt Mahrea Cramer, born Licking County Ohio 1896. Moved to Indianapolis where she went to art school with Otto Stark. Moved to Chicago 1916, continued art education at Chicago Acad. Fine Arts. Became a very successful commercial artist in Chicago. Married Paul Lehman, another artist, 1919. He died in accident in Chicago 1945.
