| | Born in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY on Oct. 10, 1875. Marian Clark studied at the ASL in Buffalo, School of Industrial Art in Philadelphia, Columbia University, and with Arthur W. Dow and Lucius Hitchcock. In 1903 she wed Lee H. Cooch. Widowed, she moved to San Francisco in 1921 and soon settled across the bay in Berkeley. Mrs. Cooch taught art at San Francisco State College from 1921 until retirement in 1943. She died in Carmel, CA on July 16, 1967.
