Frances Marian (Truby) Cronk
Born Kansas, 1906
Died California, 1992
Born in Coffeyville, Kansas, Marian Cronk later moved to Colorado where she studied at the Broadmoor Art Academy in Colorado Springs and the Chappell House (forerunner to the Denver Art Museum). She was also a pupil of Thomas Hart Benton and John Sloan. Cronk was a recipient of a Guggenheim Traveling Fellowship in 1934.
