| A painter and sculptor from St. Louis, Marie Taylor studied at the St. Louis School of Fine Art and the Art Students League in New York. From the 1930s to the 1980s, she exhibited at the St. Louis Art Guild, the Detroit Institute of Art, and Betty Parsons Gallery in New York and the Joslyn Memorial Art Museum in Omaha.
