| The paintings of Marilyn Caldwell are represented in over 500 public and private collections in the United States, Middle East and Europe. She does watercolor painting that she intends to be vibrant and to show an exciting mystery of the medium. She chooses her subjects with imagination and style.
She has exhibited works in museums including Currier Gallery of Art, New Hampshire; Mattatuck Museum; Slater Memorial Museum; The Museum of Art, Science and Industry, The White House, The Wadsworth Atheneum and The Smithsonian Institute. Her work is in the permanent collection of Thomas Hoving, former director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Ms. Caldwell studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and for the past 35 years has been painting for collectors and galleries. She resides in southern Connecticut.
