| | Born in California on Feb. 28, 1914. While a pupil at the CSFA in 1932, Chappuis won an award for life drawing. Returning to Sacramento, she became active in the local art scene. Her name was Brown at the time of her demise in San Lorenzo, CA on March 28, 1990. Her work includes landscapes and still lifes. Exh: Kingsley Art Club, 1935. | Source:
