| The following information was submitted in January of 2005 by the artist:
Mary Ann Cherry is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and a signature member of the Women Artists of the West. She is founder of the Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies and current President.
Cherry has been a finalist in the Artists' Magazine annual competition and the Pastel Journal Magazine annual Pastel 100.
She is an exhibitor at the Charlie Russell Art Show and Auction in Great Falls, Montana. Cherry also won top honors in the statewide "Idaho Paints Idaho" competition . She has also been featured in the Artist' Viewpoint segment of Wildlife Art Magazine.
