 Mirceau Ciobanu (1950-1991)
Mircea Ciobanu was an intellectual and a visionary. He was born April 15, 1950 in Bucharest, Romania. In 1973 he graduated from the Academy of the Fine Arts in Bucharest with highest distinction. His career took off but in 1981, he decided to leave Romania because of the restrictions on intellectual and artistic expressions. He moved to Lausanne, Switzerland and between 1982 and 1990, he participated in many exhibitions in Europe, the United States and in South America, at museums and galleries.
