I bought some work from Moura at an auction in Morristown, I found her work so sensitive and wanted to know more about the artist. This was c. 1999.
She and her husband, had lived in a rent-controlled apartment just opposite the Metropolitan Museum, between 5th and Madison for a long time. The apartment was at the front of the building, one HUGE room on the 3rd or 4th floor, with huge slightly rounded windows. Her husband was quite a bit older; when I met him, Moura had alr (showing 500 of 1280 characters). |
