This biography from the Archives of AskART:
|  Otto Crucius was my grandfather. He was born in Germany in 1887. His parents immigrated to the United States in the late 1890's. He studied in New York for a while. He later moved to Methuen, Massachusetts where he married my grandmother, Anna. They bought a house and he lived there until his death in 1946 at the age of 59.
