Benito Ramos Catalan was born in Chile in 1888. Catalan was a South American painter known for his landscapes of the Andes and Chile. Some of his works are signed, “Ramos C.”
His works are in the Chilean institutions: Viña del Mar Fine Art Museum, O’Higginiano Fine Art Museum in Talca, Valparaiso Fine Art Museum, and Navy Schools in Valparaiso and Talcahuano.
