Biography from Iimobiliari:
A painter of figures and portraits and non objective subjects, Renè Capone grew up in upstate New York. In school he developed a love for making art at a very young age. He was fascinated by the way it made him feel, and loved the moment when the other children would look over to see what he was making.

It was later in life that Capone realized the full potential of creating art and that expression was freedom. Art was a place where one could say, do or believe in their own way. He had a fascination for the physiological aspect of the figure in artwork and its affect on viewers.

Attending New York City's Parson''s School of Design, Capone majored in fine art. New York fed his appetite for excitement and artistic life.

He is now living and working in San Francisco.

"I find a lot of creative energy here. I'm still exploring the possibilities of meaning and interpretation with rendering the figure. Believing in expression and voice, I look at my artwork like connecting links to a chain. My work has found its way into homes and people‚s lives, and I realize how if I share a little of myself people will respond. I continue to produce art, striving be an artist with something to give to my viewers."
