Robert Clark exhibited his work in Zantman Art Galleries since the
gallery began in 1959. His signature work is realistic renditions
of the rural American scene in egg tempera.
Born in Minnesota
in 1920 he received his formal art training at the Walker Art School
and the Minneapolis Institute of Art. He came to California in
1948 where he became a staff member of the Long Beach Museum of Art and
later a staff artist at the Los Angeles County Museum, leaving that
