Rob Colvin is an abstract painter living in New York City. He has worked across several genres, including landscape and still life.
He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1977. Colvin was early influenced by Bauhaus design and Abstract Expressionism, each shaping his thinking about composition and paint-handling. His earliest works were non-objective paintings in acrylic, later moving towards semi-abstract figuration influenced by the San Francisco Bay Area Figurative (showing 500 of 4384 characters). |
