|  Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, he earned a BA Degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and an MFA in 1967 at the University of Illinois at Champaign. He has been an art teacher at several institutions including the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, and from 1974, the University of California at Los Angeles. |
