Biography from Chisholm Gallery:

Sporting artist Rod Crossman loves to fly fish and chase after bird dogs.  Most of his paintings are about the memories found in the outdoor experience.  Rod has established a reputation for capturing on canvas those quiet moments of reflection shared by all who have a love for the sporting experience.

He has won numerous awards for his paintings, which have earned him both national and international acclaim.  His work has been exhibited in such prominent venues as the Smithsonian Institution and the Chicago Art Institute, as well as several other national and regional art galleries.

He is represented by many prestigious galleries across the country and participates in many annual juried exhibitions including Easton Waterfowl Festival

His work can be seen regularly in publications such as Big Sky Journal, Fly Rod and Reel, Grays Sporting Journal, Shooting Sportsman, Sporting Classics, Sporting Tales, and many others.

He has also been included in several national and international art anthologies. He has had over fifty solo shows in various galleries around the country.

Rod's paintings have been collected internationally, and there are several sold out editions of his limited edition prints.
