Born in Boston, Massachusetts and a resident of Newton, Ruth Cobb is known for her watercolor paintings. She earned a B.F.A. at the Massachusetts College of Art. She has been active in the American Watercolor Society, the New England Watercolor Society, The Allied Artists of America, and the National Academy of Design.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Ruth Cobb earned a B.F.A. at the Massachusetts College of Art. She has been active in the American Watercolor Society, the New England Watercolor Society, The Allied Artists of America, and the National Academy of Design. She authored a book titled "Watercolor Bold & Free," published by Watson Guptill.
