| | Born in Albany, NY on Aug. 18, 1902. Clark studied with Lucille Douglass before settling in Los Angeles in 1931. He worked there for 34 years as a vice-president at the Bank of America. In his leisure he painted, lectured and wrote articles on art. His last two years were spent in San Diego where he died on Aug. 15, 1971.
