Sherry Camhy was brought up on Long Island, New York. After
marrying and having two children she came into her own as an
artist. Now she is teaching at the School of Visual Arts, The Art
Students League and at her studio in New York, among other guest spots.
Long acclaimed as a teacher she is better known as an artist capable of
great technique as well as the ability to convey emotional content.
She creates very realistic life-size nudes in pencil, and her
