Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Shirley Cleary is a resident of Helena, Montana. She has a BFA Degree from Washington University in St. Louis and an MFA degree from Tyler School of Art of Temple University in Rome, Italy and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
