Known for landscape scenes in watercolor and gouache and for teaching,
Susan Brown Chase lived in Washington DC where she taught at the Abbott
School of Fine and Commercial Art. By 1945, she was in
Clearwater, Florida.
She studied in Pennsylvania at the Chester Springs Summer School, and among her art teachers were Henry Snell and Bertha Perrie.
Memberships included the Washington Art Club; Washington Watercolor
Club, which she served as President; Society (showing 500 of 1297 characters). |
