| | Born in England on Dec. 1, 1899, the daughter of artist Henry Marsh. Sybil came to California as a child and grew up in Oakland. Taught to paint by her father when quite young, she painted landscapes of the San Francisco Bay area. She married Nickolas Croda in 1936 and continued to paint until 1951.
