| Proctor Fyffe Cook was born in Pontiac, IL on Oct. 16, 1891. "Ted" Cook lived in Laguna Beach in the 1930s. In 1946 he illustrated dancer Katherine Dunham's book Journey to Accompong. He died in Los Angeles on April 28, 1966.
