Thomas Casilear Cole (1888-1976)
Thomas Casilear Cole, painter and teacher, was born in Staatsburg-on-Hudson, New York on July 23, 1888 and died in 1976. In 1929 he was living at the Hotel Chelsea, 222 West 23rd Street in New York City. He was actively earning his living as an artist from the early 1900s to the 1970s and was a portrait painter from 1913 on. Cole taught (showing 500 of 4242 characters). |
