 A graduate of Worcester (Massachusetts) Polytechnic school and a prize winning student, he also studied abroad. Mr. Chaloner was director of exhibits in the Department of Agriculture for several years, following his successful career as a painter in Boston, where he was an active member of the Appalachian Club.
He died in Washington, D.C. in 1922.
