The following is from the artist:
Wendy Cook was born on Long Island, NY in 1963. As a child, she spent her summers in Maine which later, influenced the creation of an artist book entitled, "Then". From an early age she was inspired by the Pop-Art Movement. Her earliest influences were the works of Wayne Thiebaud, Alex Katz and Andy Warhol. These influences are reflected in some of her earlier works. She continued her training at SUNY Farmingdale (State University of New York) and Parsons (showing 500 of 1438 characters). |
