| | Born in New York in 1878. Chamberlin appears to have moved to San Francisco in the 1890s. She studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute and with William Keith at his Friday Night Club at his home in Berkeley. By 1912 she had moved down the peninsula to Los Gatos where she headed the art department at Union High School for about 25 years and made her home at 46 San Jose Avenue. She died in Los Gatos on June 19, 1953.
