| Born in Milwaukee, WI on March 14, 1876. By the 1920s Adele Dieren had moved to California. She operated a photography studio in Oakland and was then known as Mrs. LaPerle. Later, as Mrs. Truax, she lived in nearby Pittsburg until her death on Dec. 30, 1963. She was the sister of artist Miriam Cozad.
